The religious scholar Al-Sheikh Tala’a Muhammad has been assessinated on October 4 2023 in Bajaur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan . According to the information received, Sheikh was going home on a motorcycle after sunset, evening prayers when two unknown persons intercepted him on the road and, after opening fire, killed him. To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return. اناللہ وانا الیہ راجعون
Sheikh Tala’a Muhammad was a authentic scholar of religion, a great preacher and distinguished mentor. He is counted among the students of Sheikh Ul Hadith Maulana Abdul Salam Rostami (رحمہ اللہ ) and Sheikh UL Hadith ٖMufti Abdul Aziz Noorastani. His family rendered commendable services for the promotion of religious studies in the rugged regions of Bajaur and its adjacent mountainous areas, establishing mosques and Madrasas(schools).
As much as the killing of Maulana Tala’a Muhammad should be condemned, it is less, he was a true lover of religion and country, such people surely have the status of Healer for the society. It is a challenge, we demand that those responsible for this blind killing should be immediately arrested and punished. This is the requirement of justice and the protection of the ideological.
“We understand that those hidden hands are behind Maulana Tala’s martyrdom, individuals who do not guarantee peace and security in our beloved homeland. Today, the Pakistani government has issued strict instructions for foreigners to leave Pakistan, and in this context, fingers have been naturally pointed towards the borders of some countries. Our perennial enemy may also be involved in this murder.”
“The Ahl-e-Hadith community has been subjected to a test for quite some time now, and its esteemed scholars are under the watchful eyes of enemies of Islam. The situation feels as if there is a conspiracy to remove them one by one from the path. The circumstances are before you; it has been just a few days since the martyrdom of Maulana Zia-ul-Rahman Madani (رحمہ اللہ ). On the 23rd day, another practicing scholar has been gunned down.”
We pray to Allah Almighty to unveil the culprits of Maulana’s murder, annihilate them, and accept his innocent martyrdom, bestowing him with eternal peace. May He be the protector and helper of his survivors and continue the legacy of his religious services through his family and descendants. May He fill the void left in the community and religious sect. Ameen.”
